How I gave our small coat closet a makeover that is both cute and functional for our entryway for under $60!
Tiny entry closet -> functional & cute drop spot ๐๐ป I LOVE a nice foyer, but our home just DIDN’T have a grand, jaw-dropping one (or one at all ๐)โฃโฃ โฃโฃ Right when you walked through our front door you saw this small coat closet. It had two shelves but not even a bar or hook for coats ๐ โฃโฃ
$60 Small Coat Closet Makeover Steps:
Took off the door (YouTube it, it’s pretty easy)โฃโฃ
Painted what wasn’t getting wallpaperโฃโฃ
Added removable wallpaper (not fun but cute, $34 Target)โฃโฃ
Our dining room features a mid-century table and chair set from West Elm that was our first “adult” purchase after our wedding. I added a touch of boho with a Persian rug from Target! I absolutely love the colors and it fits with the table runner and Our Place tableware I already had.
While we were house hunting, a dining room was a must-have! Mostly because we had this Mid-century West Elm set and I couldn’t let it go. Where do we eat most meals? On the couch ๐ BUT it is perfect for when we have friends over and even expands to seat two more.
When it comes to certain home pieces, it’s worth the $$ for the quality. West Elm does a great job with the design and the quality is always there! The lines and details in our Mid-century Expandable Dining Table give some interest while remaining timeless. They also have a round/oval option!
I love the statement our dining room chandelier makes, even though it’s huge! Just a tip, actually look at the size of light figures, not just the design ๐
Today I am showing you guys how I style my bar cart to double as a coffee bar in our two-bedroomapartment! With our apartment layout, we have a little nook off of the kitchen where I have our bar cart. To be honest, most of the alcohol hasn’t been drunk for years…and it’s mostly used for my coffee bar!
I also have a Keurig K-Cafe machine that uses k-cups and has a milk frother built-in. My thoughts getting this machine was that it would make espresso like the Nespresso machine, but I do not recommend it if that’s also what you are wanting. The espresso is not airy and creamy with the K-Cafe, it’s more just strong coffee. I use it for regular coffee and the milk frother.
My last coffee tool is my Bodum french press, which makes the best coffee ever, but I am too lazy to clean it regularly ๐
Syrups
Currently, I am using Torani syrups. I like the way their sugar free syrups taste (mostly)! I use these for iced coffees, iced espresso, and hot lattes.
Decor and Mugs
I will link any decor and mugs that I can find! A lot of it is Target, Hobby Lobby, or thrifted. I am using a tiered cupcake/food stand to hold my mugs (you don’t want to know how many MORE mugs I own). Click here for the buffalo check mug!
I switch up my mugs and decor depending on the season/holiday.
